Van Dresser Company | Elizabeth Grimsley

Elizabeth is a wonderful complement to the VDC culture of creativity delivered with professional documentation and efficiency.

Prior to joining VDC as Vice President and Managing Director, Elizabeth served in leadership roles at some of the most *prestigious design firms in Washington, DC. Her attention to detail and team management ensures that every team and project is successful.  A well-diversified and seasoned professional, Elizabeth built her career in multiple disciplines within the hospitality industry: Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Pre- & Post-Construction Project Management, PIPs and FF&E Purchasing, Logistics & Installation Coordination.  She speaks to the vocabulary that bridges each of these disciplines.  Her work and projects encompass brand development, hotel renovation, new construction, and hotel and resort development.  She has influenced design both nationally and internationally with various brands including IHG, Hilton Hotels, Marriott International, Ritz Carlton, Starwood Hotels, Wyndham and  was project facilitator for Four Seasons Hotels.

Elizabeth also developed and managed conferences, as Conference Director for Hospitality Design Magazine, in the US, Hong Kong, and Latin America.  She was the Chartering President of NEWH Washington, DC Chapter, and has served on various positions of the NEWH International Board of Directors.

Elizabeth is a graduate of Auburn University's School of Architecture with a degree in Interior Design and is a licensed Interior Designer.
